Slip
Finally Needed Jas 10.4.6 DVD Apple Enhanced PS/2 kext. 3.5 inch to 2.5 inch IDE laptop Adaptor and preferrably USB enclosure and working osx86 Desktop To remove ApplePCCard16ATA.kext ApplePCCardATA.kext IOPCCardFamily.kext IOFireWireABC.kext IOFireWireFamily.kext IOFireWireAVC.kext IOFireWireSBP2.kext IOFireWireSerialBusProtocolTransport.kext IOFireWireIP.kext Hook up laptops IDE drive to adapter and boot from DVD Install to a primary partition on the Laptop drive. Choose the sse2 and Intel options. Reboot back to your desktop and remove the files and replace the PS/2 kext with the Enhanced one. Use this from RamJets instructions to mod the PS/2 driver cd "/Volumes/(name-of-OSX-partition)" <--- use quotes if name has spaces - but don't use parentheses diskutil repairPermissions ./ cd System/Library rm -rf Extensions.mkext Extensions.kextcache cd Extensions find ApplePS2Controller.kext -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \; find ApplePS2Controller.kext -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \; chown -R root:wheel ApplePS2Controller.kext If your PC has and 8.4.1 kernel repair the permission on the laptop osx partition with the util. Use the Macvidia 1.08 installer after you reboot. I copied the 1.07 to the kext folder before first boot but not loaded succesfully. Reboot without and options and all's well. Sound works good and builtin Mic Onboard NIC works Fan cycles on off at regular intervals. No battery Meter displayed. Toshiba M30 512 ram 32Meg 5200go 1.4 Centrino. Comments This has been a long time comming thanks everyone. To be done. Will try replacing All firewire.kexts at some point after a full image backup , and will try the newer IOPCCard file on the forum for PCMCIA wireless. And eventually try the 10.4.8 update for the Titan possibilities of full video acceleration I did this on a USB hardrive enclosure you might have problems with master/slave if you do it with IDE on a PC make your DVD a slave.
