Hello! I successfully activated my Fenvi card with the Broadcom BCM43602 chip on macOS Tahoe by following this guide: Broadcom FullMAC Wi-Fi Support on macOS Sonoma, Sequoia, and Tahoe (InsanelyMac)

NOTE:

  • Enable VT-d support in BIOS

  • Disable the DisableIoMapper option under Kernel Quirks

r/hackintosh - Kernel >> Quirks >> DisableIoMapper Kernel >> Quirks >> DisableIoMapper
  • Add the device properties as specified in the guide

r/hackintosh - Add DEVICE PROPERTIES Add DEVICE PROPERTIES
  • Add the AppleBCMWLANCompanion.kext in Kernel

r/hackintosh - Successfully Fenvi / Broadcom on TAHOE
  • In the boot-args section, include: wlan.pcie.detectsabotage=0

r/hackintosh - Successfully Fenvi / Broadcom on TAHOE

IMPORTANT:

  • If you previously used OCLP kexts, make sure to disable or remove them

  • Likewise, under Kernel → Block, disable or remove the IOSkywalkFamily patch

WHAT WORKS?:

  • Everything except Airdrop

  • Airdrop can detect near devices, but can't send/receive

REMEMBER this is a beta, but with a great first step.

Greetings from Cesar RB in LIMA, PERU

@crbonta

Please add a signature with the specs of your machine in Account details.

Thanks for the info, it's a very interesting test.

Do you see the wifi working fine, at least as in Sequoia or Sonoma with the OCLP patch?

If you have Ethernet, is it working?

My fenvi ac1200 (pci14e4,43a0) is not supported.

mine is not supported

BCM43602 (0x14E4, 0x43A0)

In the other thread you state that you have a BCM94360CD (which certainly is not supported) and not a BCM43602!

En el otro hilo indicas que tienes un  BCM94360CD ( que  ciertamente no es compatible) y no un BCM43602.

Indeed, after much study and preparing a guide and testing, I realized that mine CD is not, but many like me or as a general rule do not read the small print, that is why I clarified yours to save hours of reading.

In any case you might want to change in your post above:

mine is not supported:  BCM94360CD (0x14E4, 0x43A0)

just to avoid further confusion to the reader 😉

En cualquier caso, es posible que quieras cambiar lo que dices arriba :

El mío no es compatible:   BCM94360CD (0x14E4, 0x43A0)

Sólo para evitar más confusión al lector  😉

I'm telling you, I was studying the topic and preparing a video for my Hackintosh Spain channel and once I installed the model's firewall, it stopped appearing in Hackintosh Tool.

No lo ves? Envés de poner "mine is not supported:  BCM94360CD (0x14E4, 0x43A0)", pusiste "mine is not supported:  BCM43602 (0x14E4, 0x43A0)". Solo te pido que cambias esto en tu publicación arriba 😉

When using the translator, the topic may not be explained well. I'll leave my card, which

IS NOT COMPATIBLE, EXPLAINED HERE. Mine is NOT compatible.

Todavia no 🙃.. Tu chip es BCM94360CD y no BCM43602CD. Sorry to all others that I switched for a moment to Spanish.. 😉

Hello and congratulation !

Is sleep / wake from sleep working ?

I've just received my airport BCM 94360CS2 !

Cheers

fred

@Sumit Duster, I don’t really understand the purpose of integrating AppleBCMWLANCompanion into OCLP. Is there any difference compared to @Austere.J’s BCMC, or any specific advantage when using it with OCLP? Why would his patch suddenly require OCLP now?

I also wasn’t aware of an OCLP-R Beta for Tahoe — does it handle AppleHDA recovery as well? Could you please elaborate a bit more on what OCLP-R actually is about?

Just wondering why you decided to post this here rather than in a dedicated thread, e.g. for OCLP-R itself, or perhaps even in @Austere.J’s thread?

Cheers,

KGP
