rohde
Hi you all, I'm trying to install the JaS reseed 10.4.8 Intel SSE3 version. I have a Core2 Duo on a NVidia motherboard containing nForce chip sets. When installing I get the dreaded "Waiting for root device". I have the DVD drive and the HD on the same IDE cable (PATA). The message before the "Waiting for root device" line is "Couldn't alloc class IOUSBUserClientInit". Is this some USB problem or is it the nForce chipset (it seems others have problem with such a chip set). Any ideas?
