Ever since installing Sequoia, all updates ended up failing in the incremental packages, resulting in a full installer being downloaded after, no matter what precautions i took.

 

15.7 randomly just did it, or as the kids are saying nowadays...raw dogged it.

Does OCLP 2.4.0 or 2.4.1 work with this version 15.7?

Somebody use OCLP  2.4.1 work with macOS 15.7 ?

 

For my old Ivybridge (with Nvidia Kepler) under Sequoia 15.6.1, OCLP use MetallibSupport 15.6.1-24G90. According to mrmacintosh, Sequoia 15.6.1 is the Final IPSW released by Apple. So MetallibSupport 15.7-24G222 (extract from ipsw file) do not exist.

With 9600k (not Ivy) and Kepler Nvidia 780 it works. I would like to have Sequoia on my other 2 Ivy bridge builds but I never succeeded to get a good efi for me 🥲

Hi @bluenote56 do you means that OCLP 2.4.1 use MetallibSupport 15.6.1-24G90 for patching Kepler card on macOS Sequoia 15.7 ?

 

I can share EFI Folder Asus P8Z77-V Pro. Let me know if you want it to test !

Sorry I forgot I used version 3.0.0 nightly but as you can see from the pic it has the 15.6.1 -24G90 and it works.

Your efi could be really appreciated, maybe it works for me too.

Update: I could eventually install Sequoia on one of my Ivy bridge builds. I have a messy EFI that needs to be fixed (later). There was no way to get OCLP working as it failed everytime. I could get kepler gpu working only with OCLP mod. In case you would try. Ciao

I confirm that I could update to Sequoia (last one) my Ivy Bridge builds and that OCLP mod works both for Kepler gpus and for sound (I didn't check for bluetooth since I don't use it).

Just one question. I made a Time machine backup of my Z390 build and I tried to restore into the Sequoia ssd of one of the Ivy builds. It was a real mess and I had to restart eveything. So I wonder if we can do that or the time machine backup must necessarily be of the same kind.
