Hi,

Whenever I sleep my Hackintosh (power button, close lid, Apple logo > Sleep) and wait for a couple minutes, I find that it has shutdown. I think this may be due to my hibernation being incorrectly configured. I am fine with disabling/removing hibernation if needed.

Device Specs:

CPU: 1.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

GPU: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB

RAM: 16 GB 3733 MHz LPDDR4X

Laptop: Microsoft Surface Pro 7

Wifi/BT Card: Intel Wifi & Intel Bluetooth

Touchpad/Keyboard: Microsoft Surface Pro Keyboard

My ports are already mapped with USB Toolbox.

Hello dear friend, welcome! There are so many factors that can cause this, especially the lack of a hot patch created by Rehabman for laptops. But nowadays, depending on the hardware and the macOS you intend to install, only by testing all the required patches step by step may this solve the problem. There are Bluetooth patches, patches for various SSDs, battery patches, Opencore and Clover (Kernel) patches, power nap settings, etc. I have two laptops that took me about five months each to get everything set up the way I wanted. So I suggest checking out this advanced tutorial, among others, and if you need it, I'll leave my EFI as a reference.

For exemple, in boot args I have been used this: rtcfx_exclude=80-AB

ACPI Patch I use this:

And many others can be necessary

And this SSDTS is necessary too for fix Shutdown and Restart

After following this guide https://github.com/badstorm/surface-pro-7-opencore/issues/133 and setting OpenCore as my first boot loader, I was able to get sleep working! Sadly, I won't be able to use the guide's instant wake because I prefer to use rEFInd over OpenCore.
