wujek_bogdan
I gave up trying to set up a hackintosh on my Asus PRIME Z490-P. Neither I nor people on this forum or other forums can solve the USB issues I'm having [mods, can I post a link to tonymacx86? the thread describing the issues is there], so I decided to simply replace the motherboard. I'm going for a Z490 board, but I'm looking for one that, unlike Asus boards I have, has clean SSDT tables that don't require manual patching. The problem with Z490 boards is that their availability is limited. I'm considering Gigabyte Z490 Gaming X - it's affordable, available, and I found some success stories on the internet. Another option I'm considering is Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Elite - it's just a bit more expensive. The last one I'm considering is Gigabyte Z490 UD - but it's a really budget motherboard, so if the remaining ones are equally easy to set up, I'd rather avoid it. Before I make a purchase, I'd like to know your opinion. Is there any other motherboard to consider? What's most important to me is that it doesn't require exotic ACPI patches since my hackintosh knowledge is rather superficial. I know how to put things together, how to edit configs, do USB mapping, etc., but I'm not into ACPI patching or any advanced stuff.
