Mohsen Mahmoud
Hey everyone, I'm looking for some assistance with creating an EFI file for my Lenovo G500 laptop to get macOS running. I've attached a screenshot with my system's full specifications from HWiNFO64, but here's a quick rundown: CPU: Intel Core i3-3110M (Ivy Bridge) GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000 RAM: 8GB DDR3 SDRAM Motherboard: Lenovo (Chipset: Intel HM76 Panther Point) BIOS: 78CN25WW(V2.03) UEFI Storage: 120GB SSD (DMSC51AC120MM4) and 500GB HDD (ST500LT012-1DG142) I'm aiming to install macOS Monterey or a compatible version. I'm relatively new to Hackintoshing and would really appreciate any help, guidance, or even a pre-made EFI (if anyone has a similar setup) to get me started. Specifically, I'm a bit overwhelmed with configuring the config.plist, choosing the right kexts (like Lilu, WhateverGreen, VirtualSMC), and setting up the ACPI patches for this specific hardware. Any tips, links to guides, or direct help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Slice
@Mohsen Mahmoud, You GPU HD4000 works native up to BigSur. So I will suggest you to install it.
