I've come for help with any further foreknowledge of patching for OS past Snow Leopard..... I have my system down to just three tickboxes , and in clover it has PLUGINTYPE checked , DMAR MCFG and DROP CPU01IST ..... but its doing what my old laptop did i mustve done the same thing its still relying on CPUPM and AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement Checkboxes... Someone elses doesnt but I figured I'd specifically do it myself so I know what I did to it... Its the SandyBridge Dell not the T7100 whichever CPU that one was was the Dell D830 this ones the E6520 theyre laptops and I've gotten this one to run about the same as the other one with the same quirks to it the cursor turns into random things , you cant extend the shell with the system preference things or itll lock up, you cant change color profile for example or itll lock up, you cant add a second language or itll lock up, and its in-updateable every time you restart it it locks up and occaisionally locks up.... I know for a fact theres gotta be IRQ Conflicts... but what I was aiming for was the knowing all the Bugs the ASL Compiler was reporting were solved for my Specific Bios Version... also itll just randomly lock up but thats beside the point... its stable enough to use like i have no problem and have it hooked up as a note taker replacement... just to list the quirks to it thattttt would be about it.. and its persistent on restart so you either have to have a macbook i have a broken one but it works to reset it when i have to like switch all the preferences off so its like a empty shell and dock thats another thing it cant be cluttered.... as for heat and energy efficiency i find its more than acceptable... so yeah i need help with ASL/ACPI for specifically a SandyBridge Board , anyone who has experience doing that with DELL LAPTOPS... and the OS its for is High Sierra.... its also very very very fast..... and its a optimus laptop against my researches judgement i have been able to use both the intel card and the nvidia card which ive just left it at nvidia like anyone would want it for anyway.... and mds_store and kernel_task are unusually high in cputime and thread_count and thats about it..

I can see here where theres a problem: the specific table and why its requiring me to drop CPU0IST is because its the 2 Power Management Patchers <- its there isnt any Patch Work done for Power Management on my end...

Power Management: The Issue likely to occur as Board Revisions go Up^ meaning T7100 + CPU we see here is an Out of Order and Name System that Differs from the standard but looks generally the same: this is my case:

\_PR.CPU0

Two Resource Templates for (FixedIO) and (SystemIO) I remember reading you basically pick one...

XPSS - Maybe has to rename or something ,

SPSS - is whats writing the Package...

_PSS - Same is writing a Package i dont know if this name gets changed..

_PSDF Method _PSD , _HPDS, and _SPSD Write Packages to this..

Method _PSD K and ill specifically look here..

OK: and says like here for headers:  wants me to tick FIX and DropTable I assume this says doesnt have to..

DefinitionBlock ("./DSDT.aml", "DSDT", 1, "APPLE ", "MacBookP", 0x00080001)

DefinitionBlock ("./SSDT-1.aml", "SSDT", 1, "APPLE", "Cpu0Ist", 0x00003000)
