mikael Moran
I have a question. I’m using a Z590 Gaming X motherboard with an 11900K processor, a Radeon RX6600 GPU (dGPU only, iGPU disabled), and a Fenvi T919 WiFi/Bluetooth card. macOS Sequoia works perfectly, but I’ve spent the past week trying to install macOS Tahoe—everything from beta 1 to beta 3. However, I can’t get past the “KextManager is loading...” message. I’m using OpenCore 1.0.5, all kexts are updated to the latest versions, etc. But no matter what I try, it just doesn’t work. Has anyone here actually managed to get it working? To me, it feels impossible. This is my Tahoe config. config.plist 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361334-macos-tahoe-beta-3-gigabyte-z590-and-11900k-with-rx-6600-dgpu/ Share on other sites
BALDY_MAN
Perhaps you could use OC Simplify and make a new efi in windows. with just the basic kext. may be use Mac Pro 7,1 also instead of W.EG Kext for graphics card . use this frame buffer in device properties 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361334-macos-tahoe-beta-3-gigabyte-z590-and-11900k-with-rx-6600-dgpu/#findComment-2836775 Share on other sites
mikael Moran
I used OC Simplify, but it stops at the same spot.. Also tried to make a new usb-installation stick, to check if that was the problem.
