With the changes you made, just insure your USB mapping remains unchanged on all machines.

Changing the SmBIOS can sometimes alter the USB configuration thus forcing a re-map.

Skip Board ID “-no_compat_check" Investigate the use of these two sections, which is better without having to change your SMBIOS.

Just curious, would this entry be viable for all Models excluded from the coming new macOS?

Look at my two devices, both will need that line in boot / Patch "Skip-Board-ID-Check" since neither of them will be compatible, so I already have it added.
