I have an Optiplex 9020 SFF running Monterey 12.7.6. using Opencore 1.0.2 which is emulating an iMac16,2

Monterey is nagging me to upgrade to Sequoia, however the system update method usually doesn't boot, because it installs it's own EFI folder etc. so I prefer to upgrade from a USB stick.

Has anyone here done such an upgrade from Monterey to Sequoia in one jump?

If so, which items in the EFI folder need upgrading to be compatible with Sequoia?

It is feasible, it is advisable if not mandatory to update the version of OC and related kexts in use

This is slightly off topic but I thought someone here might know.

I have an Optiplex 9020 SFF running Sonoma successfully, and I want to upgrade to and Optiplex 7080 SFF tried just taking the drive out of the 9020 and putting it into the 9080 on the off chance it would boot. Opencore loads no problem, select the Sonoma drive and it tries to boot, gets a fair way into it then freezes with the last line saying:

GTrace syncronization point 1

Anyone know what changes top make for an 7080 with an i5 10500?
