It is a folder that contains preferably the latest Drivers, Boot Menu GUI oppose to just Text to choose from. Also Audio files i.e Boot-up Chime as well as Font etc, etc. Â If you expand and peruse the Folder, you will see all the files within. So in essence whenever you update the EFI Folder with OCAT, this is also checked and updated if an update is warranted. You don't have to copy anything OCAT will update the necessary files for you as long as the Resources Folder is present in EFI/OC. Just insure this box is ticked in this section in OCAT (as shown).  Another thing to point out, in the config.plist open with OCAT and in Misc/Boot/PickerVariant box, you must enter the name of the Theme you want to use, just type Acidanthera in the space as shown then save and you're done. If you're still having a problem, remove your personal data from the config.plist Zip and post the EFI Folder here and we will make the necessary changes for you. Â Ok, thanks, changing PickerAttributes to 144 worked. Â Now theme is applied, but where can I find other themes to customize it further? Â Also, how can I disable automatic startup at boot? It starts automatically on Windows unless I manually stop it moving cursor. Â Thanks! Insure you have the macOS Disk as the default disk to boot from, the first Disk the machine sees, in other words you need to change the Boot order if it automatically starts on Windows. This is done in the BIOS of the P/C.  Congrats you're making good progress. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360805-help-change-theme-opencore/#findComment-2831112 Share on other sites

When I start the computer, I see this screen, but if I don’t move icons using arrow keys, the system automatically boots into the first icon, which is Windows... I just want to disable the boot timer. Where can I disable it in OCAT? Thanks!  Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360805-help-change-theme-opencore/#findComment-2831131 Share on other sites
Anto65
Misc > Boot > Timeout= 0  In your spare time, take a look at the Opencore documentation 😉  https://dortania.github.io/docs/release/Configuration.html 3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360805-help-change-theme-opencore/#findComment-2831132 Share on other sites

When I start the computer, I see this screen, Open your config.plist with OCAT and go to Misc/Boot/Timeout (as shown). Mine is set at 5 seconds which means it will pause at the Boot Menu for that time for you to make a selection.  If you don't make a selection, the machine will automatically go on to boot from where the arrow is indicating. Hope this helps. 3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360805-help-change-theme-opencore/#findComment-2831133 Share on other sites
