In most cases, Hackintoool is not suitable for properly configuring the USB subsystem.

You maybe correct but I used Hackintool to map my Ports coupled with this - Youtube video and the results were satisfactory.

All other methods I have tried would result in the 15 Port limit plus 2 named PSX or something like that even after trying renaming patches (could be all down to my limited knowledge).

Maybe it all boils down to different courses for different horses.

Also attached is an example of my Port Settings after using the mentioned method but I am always open to suggestions for improvement.

Cheers.

@eSaF, the result depends on two main positions.

- How is the USB subsystem management implemented in BIOS

- How complex is this subsystem (are there several controllers of different types, are there hubs, etc.)

In simple cases, even Hackintool can handle it.

@verdazil - Thanks for the input, personally I think sometimes we get too pedantic about How Hacks are supposed to be set up.

No matter how much we tweak, change or Upgrade, at the end of the day it will always be a second grade wanabee Mac/Hack.

As far as I can tell, not being a Mac owner, as limited as my machine is in the eyes of others, I have all the functions of an Intel Mac.

Hand off to iPhone Camera, Airdrop, F/Time etc, etc work so I am happy and won't be stressing about a 7 years old kext. The day my $hit refuses to boot then i'll worry.

Hello everyone, each mapping actually depends on its use. For example, I need to compile the SSDT of my ports, modifying the GUPC or UPC system for some, I need to add 0x03 instead of just 0xFF. I use a 4TB WD SN850X Nvme, which is wonderful for any PC, but I have my old files on the good old 5TB HDD and another 4TB HDD, which are only read on my GA Z790 if I compile the HUBS. What worked best for me is to use it on any macOS system from Big Sur onwards, even on Sequoia, I use the USBmap application, and after everything is checked, I extract my USBports with Hackintool. And it comes with SSDT and also with SMBIOS, and I'm using it without any headache, I even use my SSDT of the ports with a patch for the Hubs. Infallible in my case. But instead of mapping with the program's kext, I just use Dalilanski's USBInjectall.kext, without the XHCI-Unsupported.kext.
It was the best thing ever. Fast, safe, no issues, no bugs on power ports.

And don't forget enable L01,L1 ASPM on DeviceProperties, very helpful.
