wow
I had to copy the opengl framewrok today with lots of files and directories. I to my suprise it wasnt as easy as i thought. I leftclick the dir and dragged it to another finder window to framework. But after asking for my password it keeped complaning that i hadnt enough right to to so. I noticed i worked when i placed the files on the desktop first instead of in a map on the desktop. But not always. Sometimes it took 8 times or first moving other maps/fields first before it worked. Sometimes it complanined avbout not wanted to overwrite directories, files (were they in use maybe)? COuld not explain that and yes i know my password and i have experience in winodws/dos, amiga cli and unix commands (10 years back) Is there an easier way for this? It must be, do i have to lower the rights of the framework first? Is it better via terminalmode. Is there a special way in osx to move system files? With normal dirs i never had any problems.
