RvinDomingo
Need help! My set-up: Motherboard: Huananzhi X79-ZD3 Processor: Intel Xeon E5 2620 V2 GPU: Sapphire RX580 2048SP 8GB with flashed bios RAM: 16GB ECC SSD: Sandisk 126GB I was able to install Macos Sequoia via Opencore on this set-up using your EFI folder from one of the InsanelyMac member, Verdazil! With the gpu stock bios, macos can only detect 7mb of vram from 8GB gpu, but with mod bios, I get a black screen right after where I choose the start up disk. The gpu mod bios work properly on Catalina via Clover. I tried using clover as well but I get the same issue, black screen on mod bios, 7mb on stock bios. I have tried several gpu bios to a point where I bricked my gpu several times, good thing I have an extra gpu and a pci-e gpu riser since Intel Xeon, unfortunately, don't have igpu. I tried Olarila Sequoia image, still same problem, black screen on gpu mod bios, 7m on stock bios. Thepaladas, a redditor (Reddit) advised me to use OC-Simplify so I can create my own EFI, which I did, booting up Sequoia via Opencore with mod gpu bios, I was able to get to the log-in part screen where I can see that the graphics and fonts are smooth, so I assume that the RX580 2048SP with mod bios is now working properly, but now, I can't log-in because my usb keyboarb and bluetooth keyboard and mouse stopped working once past the part where you choose which startup disk to boot from. I am assuming that the usb port are being disabled once booted on the startup disk am I right? I am a total noob on this I am hoping you can help me with this. Thank you in advance. seyd46
Have you tested this option "npci=0x2000" unless you already have it?
