Malee Elliott Posted October 29, 2024 Share Posted October 29, 2024 Hello All, For several days now I have been trying to get Sequoia installed onto an empty m.2 in my Catalina Hack. My system Consists of Asus ROG RX390-F motherboard, Asus Strix RX590GPU, 32GB of Memory, 2 data hard drives and 4 m.2 drives. I have updated the bios and set bios as per the instructions. I have run the config file through OC configurator and it is not showing any errors. I select the USB that I have created to boot from, the picker comes up and I click on the Install, It will proceed for several seconds till it comes to a halt: Message: Start : : 514 Successfully loaded AHCI. I have tried updating Preeboot, but that has not helped. I hope somebody can shine a light on what I am doing wrong, Clover boots just fine with Catalina. But I just can not get OC to work, I have googled this error code regarding the AHCI, but there really is nothing there.
