Just a minor hiccup when upgrading to 15.2 (24C100) ... even with BluetoolFixup.kext disabled, my first attempted OTA upgrade failed immediately after downloading the incremental installer.  No worries though - retrying the update produced a successful incremental upgrade via OTA.

EDIT: According to Khronokernel here, in addition to BluetoolFixup.kext, other Lilu kexts that may possibly break OTA incremental upgrades include RestrictEvents, FeatureUnlock and WhateverGreen.

EDIT2: This 15.2 Beta did not fix the Ethernet (Intel i219LM) issue with Remote Desktop and VNC Client connectivity to remote systems.  Fortunately, toggling Ethernet with the attached script once after booting macOS resolves the problem for that login session (until the next boot).

If I may, with this OT indulgence post.

@miliuco Bro surely you're not the only one that got the Dj Khaled reference??!!

If that's the case, it shows you and I are still young at heart or to put it another way

There maybe snow on the roof, but there is still a roaring fire in the hearth.

(See??!! I can activate my funny bone at times). :hysterical:

Be forever young my friend.

Ha ha! You really made me laugh. There is indeed a fire in the fireplace. Here we are, with our Hackintosh by our side. And may we continue this way for a long time.

Totally agree. I hope that our Christmas dinner (no meat), lunch and libations will let me be here too near the fireplace... alive, pace of Bee Gees.

Two Italian families, three women cooking and chatting, my son in law pretending to do something without any success, my son playing rock playlists (including Christmas songs rock mode),  me setting the table for 12, slowly, very slowly (like the Remains of the Day).

We'll talk about hackintosh too, but considering the dishes and the wine bottles I almost certainly will get a "Give us a break" from all of them.

Btw this is a great place to be in.

Ciao

I've noticed in the Sentinel app that the method to install config profiles has changed in v.1.9: it's supposed to install and enable the configuration profile to disable gatekeeper automatically once you click on the lock – but it doesn't work. :D So just use v1.6 and install/enable the config profile manually to disable gatekeeper.

@cankiulascmnfye

I have sentinel 1.9 working fine on Sequoia but 15.1.1.

Clicking the lock icon adds the profile to System Settings, installing the profile disables Gatekeeper as expected.

Maybe 15.2 changes something related to this.

1.9 didn't work for me. 1.6 did. I actually prefer v1.6 handles the process. I am not a fan of clicking an icon without getting feedback of what is happening in the background.
