noisegate
Hi all, I'm trying to install Sonoma 14.7. After successfully copying most of the payload and restarting twice, the installer enters a boot loop. Latest OC and NVRam reset after updates. Here are some of the different screens I'm getting before a restart: https://imgur.com/a/sonoma-boot-loop-uXHMKs3 I attached my original tables, and the EFI I'm currently using, with the good help of @strangeron and @MaLd0n (works 100% for Monterey, haven't tested Ventura yet) Thank you 🙏 EFI.7z origin.7z Edited September 22 by noisegate Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360007-x79-deluxe-ivy-bridge-e-i7-4930k-rx580-boot-loop/ Share on other sites
MaLd0n
Try this EFI 011.zip -Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files -Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead -Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360007-x79-deluxe-ivy-bridge-e-i7-4930k-rx580-boot-loop/#findComment-2825727 Share on other sites

noisegate
Sorry to bother you again @MaLd0n @strangeron, was the video helpful? Can you think of something? If not I will install Monterey, but it would be a shame, the install is almost done...
