Sasyano
Hi guys, after many days of trying to fix the audio with my laptop in my Big Sur Hackintosh, I'm starting to lose it..I need some help. I did everything listed in the Dortania OpenCore's tutorial step by step and couldn't make the audio work. I have correctly placed the AppleALC kext in the kext folder and loaded with the snapshot feature of ProperTree, and also set "alcid=tried all layouts" flag in the boot arg, but still nothing shows as an audio device in the settings or in Hackintool, but in Hackintool it shows audio device in the Pcie tab (I added screenshots). I will list my pc specs and link the EFI folder of after installing it (I've put the screenshot of the kexts in the efi folder instead, because I had to delete them to upload the file, because of the size limit). PC: HP ProBook 6470b. Motherboard: 7 Series. WIFI Card: Intel. Ethernet: Intel. Bluetooth Card: Broadcom. CPU: i5 3340m. RAM: 8 GB (2x4 GB) DDR3 1300 MHZ. GPU: Only iGPU (HD4000) with only display port out Screen: 1366x768. What I'm trying to make work is at least the internal speakers of the laptop with microphone, and if possible both microphone and headphones jack. Thanks in advance and if you need any more files, just ask, show me how to find whatever you need and I will edit the post and give it. Slice
AppleALC is for ALC codec, I.e. Realtek. Support for other chips is questionable. Consider to use VoodooHDA. 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/359872-audio-issues-with-codec-idt92hd81b1x5-help/#findComment-2824389 Share on other sites
