Need help on "Legacy shim 2" error.

I don't exactly know if this is an error, but whenever I try to boot my system, It throws me this screen and doesn't proceed on. I've tried to change my ports but it didn't changed.

 

What can I do about that?

I know some way using Clover (DSDT fixes) if you want to use it.

But there is another problem, Intel Iris Xe Graphics will not work in macOS until jalavoui&Co finished the special driver for it. Without their driver you will see black screen with white text. 

[80% Solved] Iris Xe iGPU on Tiger Lake successfully loaded ICLLP Frambuffer and VRAM also recognizes 1536MB! + However, some issues.

I know this topic and people and I actually want to help them test things out. That's why I'm here in the first place 😀. About the black screen tho, I've installed macOS Sonoma before and It was working well but yeah, without acceleration. But they are mainly working on Ventura and I also wanted to switch to Ventura as well. That's why I'm trying to get the Ventura.

Hi, I'm also encountering ACPI errors and unable to boot macOS on my i5-1235U Alder Lake laptop with Iris Xe. I've experimented with Ventura and Sonoma. I can also help test the kext.

It's a pity Alder Lake iGPU has no chances in macOS.

May be you can get to desktop in VESA mode. ig-platform-id = 0x12345678

I can't get past the ACPI errors even with setting ig-platform-id to 12345678. Also, do you mean the graphics will never be able to be activated in the future?

I am not sure but may be you may activate VESA mode somehow. For example by faking device-id to comet lake value.

It always seems to get stuck on ACPI errors... I already tried booting with -igfxvesa and different platform IDs. Currently i only have SSDT-PLUG-ALT, and if I don't use the CpuTopologyRebuild, it panics with an x86 validate topology error. Any tips on how i can fix the ACPI errors?

ACPI errors is not stop. The stop is the impossibility of iGPU to show graphics.
