Hi guys, whenever start the installation of Big Sur in verbose mode, system show me "SMCSuperIO failed to detect supported SuperIO chip" the line before is "apfs_module_start:2485: load : com.apple.filesystems.apfs, v1677 ext.."...what's the problem? Has anyone had the same problem with this mini pc?

I also noticed that it also occurs with Catalina Ventura and probably with Sonoma too....

I also tried with other default EFI folders taken from github, but nothing, with both opencore and clover.

I hope there is a way to bypass this error by mine kabylake mini-desktop.

I trust that someone can help me because I bought this mini PC for days but I can't install anything practically.

Thanx in advance

SuperIO is a chip that controlled motherboard temperature, fan speed etc. It can be ITC, Nuvoton, Fintec and others.

Don't wonder that hacker kexts SMCSuperIO.kext doesn't support the chip living in your motherboard.

You have alternatives:

1. Ignore these messages.

2. Exclude the kext from loading.

3. Switch to FakeSMC+plugins.May be there is supporting kext.

4. Write your own kext supporting your chip. This is complex but possible.
