AceMcLoven
Hey, Have a question for the community. Does anyone have a working OpenCore EFI folder with the following specs:? Gigabyte X299 Designare i9-9980XE 128GB RAM Radeon Vega Frontier 16GB 2TB SSD 970 EVO Fenvi T919 Would like to install the latest Mac OS Sonoma and hoping someone out there with similar hardware has an EFI folder that would work for me. Thanks in advance.
MaLd0n
EFI.zip -Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files -Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead -Reset NVRAM one time - OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / Clover use F11 key on boot screen
AceMcLoven
Thank you Moderator. I will give this a try today. Are you familiar with getting the onboard thunderbolt to work hotswap? without having to have it on all the time before booting?

Richard Goodwin
Important tips for smooth Hackintosh updates! Clear guidance on EFI folder replacement, caution against drag-and-drop, and a handy reminder to reset NVRAM for both OpenCore and Clover setups.
AceMcLoven
I'm in my Sonoma and wondering if any of you know how to get Fenvi T919 to work with Sonoma. I got the wifi to work following these steps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHs2CFox6gc My issue is that bluetooth doesn't work for me. Any way to get both of them to work? If anyone has a guide to get both of them working with Sonoma, that would be gladly appreciate it. Edited February 2 by AceMcLoven
miliuco
@AceMcLoven This is my own guide, based on the official instructions by OCLP developers, it works fine for me:
AceMcLoven
AceMcLoven This is my own guide, based on the official instructions by OCLP developers, it works fine for me: I have done the guide and have wifi working but not my Bluetooth. Anyway to get Bluetooth to work like wifi? Most of the forums I have seen are for WiFi but don’t mention much about the Bluetooth fix for the fenvi card. I installed Ventura and Sonoma and I have lost Bluetooth for my Fenvi card in both OS’s. I’m able to get wifi on Ventura without anything and in Sonoma by doing the OCLP. AceMcLoven
Actually got it to work. I end up using the EFI that MaLd0n provided. Had to add the AMFI kext because it wouldn't boot but I was able to boot into Sonoma and was able to add the Wifi patch and my BT works. I. have it all running now. Thank you all.
