berix8
I have an MSI Alder Lake laptop and unfortunately this iGPU is not supported by Apple and so I will probably have to use a virtual machine. But I still don't have a way to set the VRAM higher than 128MB and using MacOS with 128MB VRAM is very unsatisfying. Can someone help me there or is that impossible? ArcaneRhapsody
As far as I know, there isn’t an official way to increase VRAM beyond 128MB in VMware for MacOS. BUT some users have tried editing the VM's configuration file (.vmx) to manually set a higher VRAM value. This is a bit of a workaround but you can give it a try. Also, I'd suggest to try other virtualization options or configurations that could offer better performance, even with the VRAM limit.
