sogeniusio
I'm building a machine and can't get beyond this CFG Lock. I've tried several methods to disble but ControlMsrE2 still shows as Locked. MOBO Asus ROG Strix B760i I've tried the steps here but to no avail: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Post-Install/misc/msr-lock.html#turning-off-cfg-lock-manually Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/356678-disabling-cfg-lock-on-asus-b760-board/ Share on other sites

What’s the benefit ? @Slice Because Apple's C-States management is designed for Apple hardware which you have no. It is better switch off the Apple's PM and let your motherboard controller do the work as it should. 2 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/356678-disabling-cfg-lock-on-asus-b760-board/#findComment-2804885 Share on other sites
