thrunner Posted October 16, 2005 Share Posted October 16, 2005 PatchBurn v4_0_0a4 (installed but don't know how to use it) Lets your DVDROM/RW be more compatible eg will let you play commercial DVDs with VLC (x86 port 9/25 version of VideoLan) Apparently all Apple branded optical drives (CDROMs, DVDROMs, RWs) have extra ROM in them for security and costs about 4x more than comparable PC optical drives. $teve Job$ knows the money game.
