midaut
I'm trying to install Macos (Big Sur) on my HP ZBook. It has a 11th INTEL processor, which is not supported, but I still want to try my chance. I did take a look at https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/troubleshooting/extended/kernel-issues.html#stuck-on-eb-log-exitbs-start and have tried many things, but still didn't manage to go beyond this stage. I wonder if someone more experienced could take a look at my plist, machine configuration and log file. Thank you in advance. report.zip
shl628
Set AppleXcpmExtraMsrs to True in Kernel - Quirks. The Intel 11th Gen Tiger Lake CPUs require the AppleXcpmExtraMsrs quirk. And, XhciPortLimit does not work with macOS Big Sur 11.3+. Edited January 2 by shl628
midaut
@shl628 I set AppleXcpmExtraMsrs=true, and XhciPortLimit, ending with same error.
midaut
I tried the link you gave :Samsung Galaxy Book NT750XDA-KF59U NoteBook again, same error. BUT, I get to a GUI where I can format a disk partition. It only stuck when I choose "Install Big Sur". Edited January 2 by midaut
