shmk
My signature explains my system set up. I just wanted to know how can you tell if USB 2 is working? When I look in the system profiler you can see in the attached image that it says USB High-Speed Bus but I never get an expanding menu from it like I do with all the other ones on the list like the one I have highlighted. Yet in the details (which aren't show in the image) it says: Keystation 49e: Version: 1.22 Bus Power (mA): 500 Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec Manufacturer: Evolution Electronics Ltd. Product ID: 0x0090 Vendor ID: 0x0a4d So does that mean my USB 2 is working? A convoluted question and I guess a simple yes or no answer will suffice. McSkywalker
I can see the "USB High Speed Bus" in that picture, so it is most probably on. If you can simply copy around 50-60MB of data to a flash drive in one second, you can tell that USB 2.0 is working. I looked at M-Audio's page and there's no word of USB 2.0 on Keystation 49e. 12 Mb/sec indicates that it functions as USB 1.1. It's quite normal since it's just a keyboard. shmk
Nope it takes a bit longer than that. I see that it is visible in the picture that I posted but I never seem to be able to get anything connected under the high speed buss item. I guess I will do a search and see if I can fix the usb Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35508-easy-usb-question/#findComment-253167 Share on other sites
