cannot further update hackintosh Sierra 10.12.6 after installation of 10.12.3

Hi all, this is my first post and hope I'm not violating any Forum rule (understood in the Terms it is good enough that my hackintosh installation has nothing to do with Tonymac86).

I just successfully installed a hackintosh onto a bootable USB pendrive, MacOs Sierra 10.12.3, this version is the only one I managed to install for my laptop after some failing attempts with others.

Now, after fixing connection issues, system began to notify upgrades available and of course I have applied them.

But upgrades notifications stopped after Sierra 10.12.6 installation, no more.

Also tried to upgrade directly with a newer version package installation (High Sierra 10.13.2 separately downloaded from Apple Store) , but when its execution starts  and asks for a system reboot , then nothing changes, It reboots immediately with no upgrade installation.

Could someone please suggest how to upgrade to next available versions?

Thank you much

Mauro

Show your ioreg from working Sierra.

Show your bootloader log.

Show the list of using drivers and kexts.

Show something to discuss!

You know that it is not common problem. This is a problem specific to you.

Huh! You are using legacy Clover revision 4012 from 2017 year. Now there is 2022. I just don't remember bugs and trick 5-years old. I don't remember if the version supports High Sierra.

Your CPU is Broadwell and I am sure the computer has UEFI boot. Broadwell is compatible with Monterey if you take recent Clover.

But if you take recent Clover then you have to begin making your hackintosh from initial.

ok , thank you.

Let's say I'm a little bit discouraged to begin a new attempt of a Hackintosh installation since is not pain-free for me and it took months to successfully find this one I actually have. So if I understood enough about you suggestion, a more recent Clover version could help, and then try the system upgrade with Monterey...?
