loganMac Posted November 6, 2022 Share Posted November 6, 2022 (edited) Update to 13.1 Before updating, update all kexts, OC, OCLP etc to latest version Verify config.plist compatible with latest OC Edit config.plist -->NVRAM --> 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 --> boot-arg --> -v keepsyms=1 debug=0x100 alcid=1 -cryptbeta amfi_get_out_of_my_way=0x1 -amd_no_dgpu_accel Then download and install 13.1 Once successfully installed, follow step 9 - 11 in "Post Install" Latest OpenCore Latest Kexts: AppleALC, CryptexFixUp, Lilu, RealtekRTL8111, VirtualSMC, WhateverGreen, also SMCProcessor and SMCSuperIO ACPI: SSDT-EC, SSDT-IMEI, SSDT-PM. SSDT-PM is for Post Install. App need: MountEFI, ProperTree, GenSMBIOS, SSDTTime I use OpenCore Legacy Patcher to make bootable usb for Ventura or sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Ventura.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled 1. After making bootable USB, mount the USB EFI 2. OpenCore --> X64 --> EFI, copy EFI folder to USB 3. In the USB EFI --> Driver --> delete all except OpenRunTime, ResetNvramEntry, and alsoHfsPlusLegacy. Optional "CrScreenshotDxe": if you want to screenshot OC Boot Menu by pressing F10. 4. In the USB EFI --> Tool --> delete all except OpenShell 5. Copy Kexts from above and put in USB EFI --> OC --> Kexts folder 6. Put SSDT-EC, and SSDT-IMEI in USB EFI --> OC -->ACPI folder 7. From OpenCore --> Docs --> copy Sample.plist to USB EFI --> OC folder and rename as config.plist 8. Launch ProperTree and open config.plist from OC folder 9. Do Cmd-R to load all from OC folder 10. Config.plist setup using this Guide 11. NVRAM --> 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 --> boot-arg --> -v keepsyms=1 debug=0x100 alcid=1 -cryptbeta amfi_get_out_of_my_way=0x1-amd_no_dgpu_accel 12. Save Post Install: (internal drive) 1. Mount your SSD EFI 2. Copy EFI from USB to SSD EFI 3. Put SSDT-PM in SSD ACPI folder 4. Launch ProperTree and open config.plist from OC folder 5. Do Cmd-R to load all from OC folder 6. Misc—> Security—> SecureBootModel—>Disabled 7. NVRAM --> 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 -->csr-active-config --> change from 00000000 to 03080000 8. Save and reboot --> Then do ResetNVRAM 9. Launch OpenCore Legacy Patcher --> Root Patch. Don't restart yet 10. Delete -v and -amd_no_dgpu_accel from NVRAM 11. Save and reboot I hope I didn't missed any step.
