I had the original 10.4.8 on my compy, i had fixed out all the buggs, i had sound and usb 2.0 support. i had a problem with a pci card, and after chatting with some people, the told me to re install my system with the reseed. i downloaded it (for 2 weeks) and installed, selecting all the necessary options, including usb 2.0 and azalia audio. after it installed, i went to create my profile and all that other stuff ypu need to do to get to the regular mac osx screen. i discovered that usb didnt work. after borrowing a ps/2 keyboard from my neigbhor, i got through all the stuff. I then proceded to replace the azalia kexts with the ones from my original install that worked. i corrected the permissions, and then restarted. it turned on and said kext could not be used. what can i do to fix my usb and sound? i have realtech hd, i followed http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=27015 to make it work the fist time. i also am experiencing mouse stuttering from natit. i had disabled a cpu, but some people say there is another way to get mouse studdering to stop.

Reinstall and do not select the USB option.

After reinstallation, follow the Azalia link in my signature for sound.

For stuttering, get the latest kernel for 10.4.8. Follow the 10.4.8 link in my signature for ways to do that.

okay, i did ramjet's thing, and when i rebooted, it said Appleazaliacontroler.kext was loaded improperly, and the same thing with IOHDAudiofamily.kext. it worked for me with 10.4.8 the firs version. what happened?

okay, i did a "sudo chown -R root:wheel on appleazaliacontroller.kext and on the other one on which i am blanking on the name" i restarted the compy, and no error, but i still cant do sound. please help me!!!
