Hi! I'm new to the Hackintosh community. I want to ask for help for my newly installed Hackintosh with macOS Catalina (10.15.7) on Acer TravelMate P249-G2-M.

I have read Dortania's Guide about installing Hackintosh and OpenCore and I had almost all things worked, except the battery indicator.

It doesn't show any battery indicator on my Hackintosh. It successfully showed the indicator before but after installing Windows alongside the Hackintosh it disappeared.

I tried many things from changing kexts, dumping and patching DSDT and SSDT, etc. but nothing works for me.

Thank all of you for your help.

This image was captured after I successfully installed Hackintosh on my computer:

And that's my Hackintosh right now:

There's no more battery indicator on the top left of the menu bar.

Specifications:

Laptop: Acer TravelMate P249-G2-M

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs)
RAM: 4.00GB

Disk: 120GB SSD + 750GB HDD

Audio: Realtek ALC255

Graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics 620

Ethernet: Realtek RTL8111

Wi-Fi: Intel(R) Dual-Band Wireless AC 7265

Below here is my EFI folder link. I used VoodooHDA instead of AppleALC because my Hackintosh didn't recognize the audio when using it. If anyone can also help me solve that problem, I'll appreciate it.

Your SSDT-Batt shouldn't be needed when using ECEnabler.kext. It allows the EC reads to go over 8 bits, so your patches to make all the fields 8 bits is needlessly complicated (especially since it's easy to make mistakes. I've been there!)
