Darwinian Dude
Awhile ago earlier this year when i was between macs, i found an application that let you type in text and numbers and it was a text based calculator and notepad thingy. Very cool, i can't find it ANYWHERE have spent a good hour googling without finding this app. Anyone seen it? You can just type things like: Bob gave me 2 oranges and sarah gave me one orange, how many oranges do i have? and it will do that sort of thing. Or you can use words too, fifty-five etc. What is it!?! Eventually, i went to all the news sites i've looked at in the last year, searching for calculator in recent news posts. It's called Soulver, and it's very cool, but they need to change it's name! AlainTox714
another app XEALbc provides a graphical front-end to the bc command line tool that is shipped with Mac OS X, and includes optional support for the preprocessor. Equations and functions are entered in a free-form manner in a text-editing pane. When you want to see the results, just click a button (or hit enter), and see multiple lines of formatted output. http://www.ljug.com/sw/xealbc.html Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35360-help-me-identify-this-app-what-is-it/#findComment-251536 Share on other sites
