Artem3000
Hi everybody! I am trying to run Macos 12.3.1 Monterey on my desktop and I succeeded installing it, but I can't get graphic effects to work correctly. Without graphic effecs everything works (mostly) ok except some apps like VSCode that suffer from graphics glitches. My CPU is: DualCore Intel Core i3-4160, 3600 MHz (Haswell) with Intel HD4400 graphics adapter RAM: 8GB Motherboard: ECS H81H3-EM2 Now I am following this guide: https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/blob/master/Manual/FAQ.IntelHD.en.md The MacOS starts fine, but after 2-3 minutes, the screen freezes except rotating mouse cursor, and I can't do anything. I am pretty sure this is a glitch with the graphic driver. Is there any log for graphic driver? Maybe somebody have solved this problem? Slice
Worse or better you may get haswell graphics working in Monterey. But take into account this graphics is alien for Monterey and it will work very bad no matter what acidanthera said. Artem3000
I decided to downgrade to MacOS Big Sur with my hardware. So far works much better with device-id faking. There are a few graphic glitches still, but at least it does not hang.
