mka101 Posted December 9, 2006 Share Posted December 9, 2006 o.k man seriously, We all here can tell you to take apart your computer do this and that and nothing will get resolved. If we were there i am sure your computer would be fixed in a few minutes or so. The fact is we are not there, and you don't know how to fix the problem. This is more than just an easy fix (eg something command line) that will solve your problems. You obviously have issues with the computer itself/hardware. Get that fixed first then we might be able to help you out. I also suggest if you do get it fixed to have someone back up your data just in case. KBS7566 Posted December 9, 2006 Author Share Posted December 9, 2006 i did exacly what u guys told me to to a T just couldnt find cmos jumper at first case really crowded i kmow what i am doing most of the time i have built my own comp before but not the one i am using and i havent experinced these porblems until just after my windows hdd died along with my dvdrw what do i do my mb and powersupply were fried 3 months back and bestbuy fixed them and made sure the rest of my comp is all right i had no problems until a week ago when windows died and i made my slave the master and formatted the windows as mac os journeled (slave position) i changed jumpers for that everything. i had norton on windows so i am doubting it is an virus because of windows but nothing drastic happend immediately before or in the 2.5 months preceding it so i dont know what went wrong. someone at least tell me why this may have happened.??? and how to prevent from happening again. i now need a new hdd for windows have lost everything but my music and videos (ipod) and have other serious problems with hardware that pooped up when the hdd died no reason in my knowledge.
