This started with Mac Mail unexpectingly quitting over and over.  I removed suggested files/folders from the system and upon trying to reboot, the selection in clover of the volume containg El Capitan was not there.  I have the original thumb drive for the installation and tried to re-install.   I've tried to re-install El Capitan but get an error saying that it cannot be installed on this computer.....No packages available to install the software.  Thinking that the thumb drive was corrupt I located another "install osx 10.11.4" application and created another install thumb drive with #####.  Same errors.  The volume is on a three partioned, four TB drive and all drives are accessable from the desktop while booting into Mavericks from the clover menu selection.  I have run disk first aid, nothing.  I have tried to go into safe mode but that doesn't work either.  The motherboard is a GigaByte H77n-WIFI.  I need to update/refresh/re-install El Capitan so it will load from this 4TB drive.

Thank you in advance
