lunchandamovie
Well I just discovered this today, so i thought i'd put it up for anyone who need it...in case your iSight broke or something First off, if you don't have an Apple branded webcam or a Firewire Camcorder you can still use Photo Booth with that old PC webcam in your garage. Secondly, make sure you have the latest Photo Booth (1.2) Mactastic had a post about it. That's all I'll say. Finally, you'll most likely need macam. Great software 'cause you can also record just as you would with QT Pro. If your cam supports VGA 640x480 (you can switch to it if available in macam in the settings sidebar) then everything in PhotoBooth should work. If it only supports 320x240, only Sepia, B/W, Sketch, Stretch, and Thermal Camera will work.
