demenion
this is my first time installing x86 OS X.. I used JaS 10.4.8 reupload.. I still don't know what I am doing in terminal, permissions, etc.. i appreciate all the installer / guides that have been written. MSI Platinum v2.x 975x Motherboard eVGA 7800 GT 2x Dell 2407FPW @ 1920x1200 both DVI It is not perfect.. (pretty close though) restarts/shutdowns don't seem to be working.. i've had system profiler hang on me (hour glass just appears) i am using Realtek HD onboard sound.. However only two speakers are working.. has anyone gotten 4.1/5.1 sound to work yet? I used the Natit_Uni_1.0.pkg installer... acceleration seems to be working.. (played a hidef quicktime movie) anything else I should test? i'm glad i got both of my displays to work... it was really messed up on my first reboot... one display screen was flipped.. i clicked detect displays and it shut off one display and the mouse cursor moved extremely choppy.. when I rebooted it somehow fixed itself and both displays seemed to be working fine at 1920x1200 (both connected straight DVI) i didn't bother to try mirror mode. anyway here is a picture I took of my setup Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35224-1048-msi-975x-platinum-evga-7800gt-dual-displays-working/ Share on other sites
