I tried to change the SMBIOS to MacbookPro14,1, and imitated the CPU

But my first boot terminates at [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START]

My friends told me that I need Disable Booter → Quirks →AvoidRuntimeDefrag

I tried and the boot does not terminate at [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START], but it terminates in another place

By the way, I'm a new user and I can't create new topics here at https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/351969-pre-release-macos-ventura/page/2/

@Misaka1042 my test system stuck right there, too. It's HP ProDesk 400 G5 Mini with i5 9500T/UHD 630. Any ideas are appreciated. :)

I managed to get the installer booting on my mac pro 5,1 (which is a socket 1366 system) without using open core, so it seems that this new os works with older cpus. The problem you got is caused by the fact that to boot macOs normally you actually need that avoidrutimedefrag option enabled, but something is different in the booter for the new os so that it doesn't like it when avoidruntimedefrag is enabled and so it stops the system before starting the actual os boot. To solve this we have to wait for the open core team to figure it out and then update our software.

Yes, I figured that. 300 motherboards needs some fixes. I managed to install Ventura on my 8th gen intel laptop though. Everything seems to work well so far. Honestly it feels polished and definitely not a beta version, kinda like it!
