Ok, I successfully installed it, but when it boots i get a blue screen and can move my mouse around. I booted up with the options -x -v and it gives some error that I'm hoping you can help me figure out.

 

kld_load_from_memory() failed for module /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAResman.kext/Contents/MacOS/NVDAResman.kext/Contents/MacOS/NVDAResman

a link/load error occured for kernel extension /System/Library/Extensions/NVDANV30HAL.kext display: family specific matching fails

cant find extension with id com.apple.iokit.IOUSBUserClient

 

 

Computer Specs:

P4 2.4 SSE2

Nvidia 5900

 

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I also think that it may have to do with the display or something because I have a lot of trouble installing the nvidia drivers in Linux and even in Vista RC1. XP seems to work fine though.

 

Well, before I got the error, I installed with the 10.4.6 DVD and enabled SSE2 drivers for Pentium 4. I then proceeded to install. Once it finished and rebooted got an error like "b0 error". I looked up the error code, went into the mac terminal and entered

 

fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0

flag 1

quit

exit

 

When I rebooted I was welcomed with the current problem. I have tried using a different display, but that doesn't seem to help any.
