Odd behaviour in MacOS 12.3.1 boot loop... sporadic system quitting -unstable system

Did the update to MacOS 12.3.1 yesterday and all seemed fine until this evening. I encountered sporadic quitting and system instability. Computer would start fine and then freeze and restart about 10 minutes into a normal boot. Issues pointed to the KASPERSKY.plist file but now after clearing up this problem, I now have panicked tasks - related to  task mDNSResponder. Anyone seen / encountered this issue before?

Trying to figure out what is going on here and any fixes?  Again, these issues occurred immediately after MacOS 12.3.1 was installed.

Boot arguments are in the picture.

Thank you for any info you can provide.

8-10 years ago we encounter a problem with mDNSresponder but I don't think it is the same. Anyway I will recommend to find those issue. I don't remember as it was so long ago.

This issue seems now more like it is networking-related.  I got a self-assigned IP  169.254.x.x on the internal Intel Ethernet ports... and when trying to switch the network from Intel i255-v 2.5Gb Ethernet to WIFI ... the computer suddenly kernel panicked and restarted.

Has anyone seen this issue yet?  Thinking about going back to MacOS 12.2.1 ... weird behaviours and random restarts.

No, I disabled it as it is unused for either Windows11 or MacOS 12x.  I have now enabled it - makes no difference.

This error seems to be connected to the switching of network connections from WIFI to intel i255-v Ethernet.  - Creates a KP situation and system crashes.

This time opening up the last crash report

I tried with VT-d enabled - same effect

I had no issues until MacOS 12.3.1

Added the other missing boot args....  no panicking but Ethernet is dead - no IP address -- just self assigned.

There is likely more to this than just boot args and VT-d enable. Something in the security of MacOS 12.3.1 is actively blocking hardware after it checks for system integrity.

hmmm....

Managed to get yet another kernel panic after changing the network port from 0 to port 1.  Still occurring despite what was suggested.
