karim79 Posted December 6, 2006 Share Posted December 6, 2006 ciao ragazzi premetto che e da tanto che non capito qui che ormai sto dietro sull argomento. allora sono 3 giorni che provo ad installare la 10.4.6 Jas sulla mia macchina ma niente da fare appena schiaccio invio al boot darwin tempo poki secondi e il pc si riavvia. ecco la mia configurazione. -MoBo AsRock 775Dual VSTA -Intel Conroe E6400 -Ram 1024 DDR2 vdata 553mhz -Maxtor 120gb ide(windows) -Maxtor 80gb ide (eventuale Macosx) Vi prego aiutatemi!!! karim79 Posted December 7, 2006 Author Share Posted December 7, 2006 I finally figured out the problem. Since I have a Core 2 Duo CPU, I had to turn off the extended features flags of the CPU in the BIOS to stop the CD from rebooting. Once I did that I got the install to run. Everything is working now except for Audio and USB mouse. Used Macvidia driver and Via Rhine driver to get NIC up and running. If anyone is good at getting ALC888 to work on this board please share your thoughts... lord_muad_dib Posted December 7, 2006 Share Posted December 7, 2006 sul bios ci dovrebbe essere da qualche parte un opzione "extended features" o simile, lo devi mettere su off EDIT:se leggevi un po... it does work in Native mode, but you have to "Enable" (this is confusing) the blocking of Extended Features flags in the CPU section of the BIOS, Once you do that, you will be able to boot of the DVD.
