Dear All,

Sorry for the wrong category of the topic. It didn't let me to select installation topic. Anyway, I have a boot USB stick with niresh mojave installed on it. However, when I install it on my notebook (Acer aspire E15 E5-551G-T6Q7), the installation lags at the stage shown on the picture. How could I fix this issue in order to hackintosh my notebook? Previously I tried to install Catalina and it stopped at the same point.

Thank you all for your support!

Could you recommend a program for making a bootable USB stick? For my last installation I used balenaEtcher. It told me that the installation on USB was successful.

I reinstalled the OS on USB stick with another program (transMAC). It didn't work. The same issue persists. I will try to install it on another USB stick (maybe the USB stick doesn't work properly, even though the image was written on it successfully). Maybe the problem doesn't lie on the bootable USB stick, maybe it is something wrong with the PC?

I took another USB stick and made it bootable, but it lags at the same position. The problem doesn't lie in the stick.

I mean, macOS can run on amd laptops. It's not a good experience though. First major problem is that the integrated graphics are not compatible with any drivers in macOS. You'd be stuck with unaccelerated macOS which is really painful. You wouldn't have any CPU power management other than what the CPU already does by itself as well, and many drivers for trackpads (aside from VoodooPS2?) would probably not work. It's overall not worth it unless your willing to try and work through all of these issues.

Graphics alone probably requires a very substantial Lilu plugin, and even then I'm not sure it's really possible.
