Hello guys. I have changed my old mobo (Z390 ProWifi) to Aorus Z590 Ultra and 10700K CPU. After an upgrade from Catalina to Monterey I am facing random reboots after start. My comp simply reboots without any windows or some kind of info. I was able to catch send report window to Apple. And it says:

Here is my EFI with OC.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jT9KHCataXheqRM-PQP2gJtwtZFsyx8Q/view?usp=sharing

This EFI was made via this tutorial https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/config.plist/comet-lake.html#starting-point

Pls, help me. What i am doing wrong?

Edited by existation

use this efi folder

https://tinyurl.com/ecar44y5

-Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files

-Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead

-Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen

-EFI folder from here https://www.olarila.com/topic/5676-hackintosh-efi-folders-for-all-chipsets-clover-and-opencore/

  • Thanks 1

Thank you. After downloading of yours EFI I have realized what I did wrong. I have Rocket Lake mobo with Comet Lake CPU. And I configured my OC via Comet Lake guide. Tomorrow I will do right configuration!

Why?

iMac Pro, Late 2017 is very old for me. It is Skylake W family, and I have Comet Lake CPU.

Hello. I have changed smbios to MacPro7,1.

I have only one problem with my hack. Booting of Monterey takes very long time, about 1:16 sec. I have Samsung 970 NVME SSD with ~3500Mb read speed. Windows 11 boot about 15-20 sec. Windows has WD Black SN750 which is little bit slower than Samsung 970.

Here is video of Monterey boot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bYuhE8diqLPoqxt_oRfHnHo3d6eH1UH0/view?usp=sharing

No. This problem was before those kexts. I didn't pay attention to it before.

How i can see boot log via -v. I think i have some acpi errors in it. You may see them on 0:03 in video.

On 3/19/2022 at 11:40 PM, MaLd0n said:

acpi errors is from OEM SSDTs in these hardwares and don't cause any problem

the problem is intel wifi or samsung nvme

the best is broadcom card and corsair mp600 nvme

I figured out. All kexts are good. Long boot was causing by updates )))) I had 10.14.6 and then Catalina and then Monterey. Today I installed fresh copy of Monterey on other SSD and boothig was fast, very fast.

Now I need to install fresh Monterey on my main SSD and all will be good )

Thanks for your help.

Here is Last EFi Folder with different SMBIOSes. I use iMac20,2

Hello. Maldon, can you help me?

I have a little problem with my hack. All works good except USB, I think.

The problem is happened first when I was working in Ableton Live 11. This is software for music creation. So, project is playing in application and suddenly audio stops to play (audio from external audio card Scarlet 8i6 USB2) and USB devices stop working: keyboard, mouse and sound card. All other thinks are good. Clock is running, iStat menus too. OS seems to be good and Ableton too, but I can not drive my OS. I have no USB any more. I tried to re-plug mouse or keyboard with no luck. Only restart helps me. After restart were no information about what is going on. Today I work in project in Ableton and I try to launch Adobe Audition 2020 to edit one loop. But OS freezes for a second during start of Adobe and comp has been restarted. After booting i received this info:
