macattackjack
The Mac Pro maximum memory is 32 GB, and I have 64 in my build. Is there a way to suppress this? RestrictEvents.kext doesn't work with Big Sur, only up to Catalina. Installing it with Big Sur didn't do anything Asus Prime 299X-A, i9-9960X, 64GB Ram, EVGA GT710 gpu Config.plist
miliuco
@MacAttack I think MacPro7,1 can have 1 or 1.5 TB of RAM depending of models. And RestrictEvents works fine in catalina, Big Sur and Mojave. But I don't see RestrictEvents in your config.plist. It must be in the Kexts folder and also in the Kernel >> Add section of the config.plist file. Recheck this and maybe update OpenCore to a newer version. Aluveitie
Never had any issues with RestrictEvents on Big Sur or Monterey using MacPro7,
