Sander Verstegen
Problem with permissions After disabling the dedicated GPU on a MBP 2011 because of blue screen problem, I got the second GPU to stop generating a blue screen but now I cant install a new OS (High Sierra) I am afraid I have done something stupid with the permissions, I have tried to reset it by using the disk utility and I'm trying to use InsanelyRepairPermission.. But since I'm a newbie on Mac don't know how to execute the lines as a single user in the terminal, I'm trying to use a flash drive with InsanelyRepairPermission on it.. this is the line to use: sudo /path/to/InsanelyRepairPermission / but how do I direct it (path/to) to my flashdrive with the file on it (insanely repair permissions) Can anyone help me out please? Sander Verstegen
I can't make out where the problem lies.. Just that it stays in read only mode.. but I think there are more issues.. If some one could help me out.. I'm lost..
Slice
I think OS Base System is really read-only image. You should switch to other volume. What do you do? For a why?
