I'm talking about a dark theme for IM

I leave my Appearance on Auto ;)

 

edit: It would be nice if you could enable themes from your own IM preferences

That is my go to excuse if I get things wrong (which is very often), people tends to look kindly upon you because of advancing age and are not too harsh with you.:hysterical:

I haven't done any web programming but to me it would only take toggling on byte on and off

There should be a choice in your settings to toggle 

I will investigate and see if I can put option into settings with an offline IM

It's possible to allow users to choose between different styles if permissions are set via their account settings. Problem is there aren't any other themes applied to the site. I've put forward a suggestion to the team. We'll see if it happens ;)

Nice. I'd like  to see this as a default.

 

In the meantime, there are browser add-ons like DarkReader which can change the appearance of a site:

I tried the dark mode but IM is still white, I actually have that setting on Auto
