gatorback
Goal: Migrate from Clover-Catalina to OC-BigSur. Catalina-Clover works well on said Optiplex i3-3240. The machine's hardware was profiled with the Ubuntu-command lsusb profile: https://pastebin.com/raw/npyVNjpE OC-BigSur was successfully installed in a Optiplex i-3770 with the same NVIDIA GPU. Attempts to transplant the OC-BigSur SSD into the i3-3240 box failed: OC picker failed to show. The OC 7.6 config.plist is attached for review. I understand that i-3770 and i3240 are both "Ivy-Bridge" devices and expected OC's configuration (.plist) to be the same, because both systems use the same NVIDIA Kepler dGPU. What is the thought process that leads to understanding & identifying the necessary OC changes to run OC on the i3240? Slice
Why not migrate to Clover-BigSur? IvyBridge and Nvidia Kepler are supported out of box.
