enigmahack
I'll try and keep a long story short here. I've got a 100% fully working OC 0.7.5 install working on both my laptop and desktop. The *ONLY* issue with the desktop at the moment is OpenCanopy. The boot menu isn't make-or-break, and I know what's going wrong, just not how to fix it. When I use the external boot picker (so I can see the icons for my boot choices, have mouse, etc.) I get an error in the log that shows: 00:000 00:000 OCUI: Font has height 11 instead of 10 00:023 00:023 OCUI: Font init failed 00:043 00:020 OC: External interface failure, fallback to builtin - Unsupported Okay, so the font is too tall, OpenCanopy decides that it's too big and the initialization of the font fails. This makes OpenCanopy fail, and everything reverts back to text mode. I thought about increasing things to high-DPI mode to test to see if that fixes: It does. The problem then is that the icons are WAY too large, and my mac boot logo is significantly higher than it should be. I don't recall having this issue when I was booting from my Intel internal graphics, but only since having installed the Sapphire RX 580 does it seem to bring up this issue. Has anyone seen this issue before? It's a stupid issue and it's purely cosmetic, but I wanted to try and get this as close to a mac as possible because reasons. That's why we're here right?
