I installed MacOS.X.10.4.8.AMD.SSE3.TEST1. But with the parameter "cpus=1", otherwise it wouldn't boot.

Unfortunately, now there is only one core recognized. Is there a way to enable it? Heres the Content of my com.apple.Boot.plist:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string></string>
<key>Boot Graphics</key>
<string>Yes</string>
</dict>
</plist>

And here a screenshot of the profiler:

Any Suggestions? :whistle:

Ah, the command shows

stephans-computer:~ stephan$ sysctl hw.activecpu
hw.activecpu: 2

and there are two diagrams in the cpu-sections right corner. I guess, I was just confused about the XBench score (got 70 and a friend got 65 with a single core amd). I guess, it depends on the 512 megs of ram :whistle: Tomorrow there'll be 1.5 Gigs :compress:

Or maybe XBench simply sucks -LoL-
