ITzTravelInTime Posted October 25, 2021 Share Posted October 25, 2021 Hi, i have just used open core to install os x Tiger on my core 2 quad machine, it all works but i need an nvenabler version that works on tiger (the leopard and snow leopard versions doesn't work on tiger) or an alternative kext to have gpu acceleration. I could use the device property patching provvided by open core and follow the nvidia legacy patching guide for open core, but i am switching gpus ofen so i don't really want to deal with the trouble of doing that, so using this kind of kext seems like the best option for my case. Also I am trying to get my hands on old install images from the hackintosh forums so i can try and recover something from them, i will keep you posted.
